What an amazing experience I had at the first-ever Black Canadian Awards this past weekend! It was so thrilling to be a Beauty Pageant contestant representing Saskatoon, SK and being honoured for my local community involvement!

The beauty on my left won the "Humanitarian Award" and I won the "Most Accomplished" based on the following highlights:
- Raised over $4400 in in-kind sponsorships and private donations through the "Go Fund Me" campaign (surpassing my goal of $1000 and totaling $1070 in 26 days)
- Promoted the Black Canadian Awards event and pageant involvement through various social media channels including this Official site, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube
- Live Guest appearances on "The Chonilla Network" and "The Lori and Cher Show" podcasts as part my pageant campaign
